Injustice, let's brake it down!
  • One of the things I noticed as we were scouting the new route for this year was the number of streets with funny names. I thought I’d share a half-dozen with you. (Some, sadly, won’t end up on the final route, but I figured Emilie and I shouldn’t have all the fun!) See if you can spot these signs as you’re riding in September!


  • What does BRAKING AIDS® Ride’s new route look like? Frankly, it’s tough to summon the adjectives, the route is just that breathtaking. We’re known for finding the most scenic back roads we can find, but this route takes it to a new level. Over a series of several posts, I’ll share some highlights with you.


  • If you are anything like me you have a list of cycling and fitness related goals you are going to accomplish during the off season so that you can hit the ground running (or rolling as the case may be) with something to show for the frigid months you spent off the bike, or at least off the open road. I am always excited about my off-season to do list in November, then the holidays come, then I get caught up in other things after New Years and then it’s spring and the list gets pushed to the side only to be recycled the following fall.
